1. Overview & Privacy Commitment

 

CyBelt ("we," "our," or "us") provides on-device cybersecurity, anti-scam, and anti-fraud defensive utilities for mobile devices.

 

Our core architectural foundation is 100% On-Device Privacy. All threat detection algorithms, link analysis heuristics, and scam call evaluations execute locally on your smartphone's processor. We do not require user account creation, do not operate cloud databases of user activity, and do not collect, transmit, sell, or monetize your personal data.

 

2. Information We Do Not Collect

 

CyBelt operates on a zero-knowledge security model. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, physical address, or phone number.

  • Message & Communication Content: Body text of SMS messages, chat conversations, contacts, or voice recordings.

  • Financial Details: Bank account credentials, payment card numbers, UPI PINs, or account balances.

  • Location Data: GPS or network-based geographic coordinates.

  • Device Storage & Media: Personal photo galleries, videos, documents, or phone address books.

 

3. Device Capabilities & On-Device Processing

 

To defend against real-time fraud, digital arrest coercion, and phishing attacks, CyBelt requests specific device capabilities during setup. All data evaluated via these capabilities is processed ephemerally in volatile memory on your device and is discarded immediately after analysis:

  • Display Over Other Apps (Screen Warning Overlay):

    • Purpose: Renders full-screen high-priority warning alerts when active scams, coercive calls, or unauthorized screen interactions are detected.

    • Data Handled: None. This capability is used exclusively to display the visual defense interface over ongoing calls or apps.

  • Continuous Background Protection:

    • Purpose: Maintains active, uninterrupted defense against incoming phishing threats and fraudulent payment requests while your device is in use.

    • Data Handled: On-device system state flags only. No personal telemetry or usage activity is transmitted externally.

  • Notification & Message Link Inspection:

    • Purpose: Scans incoming SMS and messaging notifications locally for known malicious application download links and phishing web addresses.

    • Data Handled: Web links and URLs are parsed locally against security heuristics. Message contents and sender details are never logged, stored, or sent to external servers.

  • Call & Audio Status Inspection:

    • Purpose: Detects active communication audio modes to trigger automated anti-coercion alerts during suspected scam calls.

    • Data Handled: System audio mode states (active/inactive). Voice conversations are never recorded, listened to, stored, or transmitted.

  • Camera Access:

    • Purpose: Used exclusively within the QR Code Safety Inspector to scan and verify destination web links before opening them.

    • Data Handled: Camera frames are analyzed locally on your device. No photo or video frames are saved to storage or transmitted over the internet.

  • Biometric & Screen Lock Verification:

    • Purpose: Allows you to authenticate and temporarily dismiss threat alerts or whitelist trusted callers using your device's secure fingerprint, face unlock, or PIN.

    • Data Handled: Authentications are executed entirely through your phone's built-in operating system security. CyBelt never accesses or stores your raw biometric or lock credentials.

 

4. Third-Party Services

 

CyBelt integrates only standard Google platform services to provide core functionality:

  • Google Play In-App Billing: Manages subscriptions and trial periods under Google's Privacy Policy. CyBelt receives only an anonymous purchase token confirming subscription status.

  • Google ML Kit: Performs on-device QR and barcode parsing. Visual frames are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to external servers.

 

We do not integrate third-party advertising networks, cross-app tracking SDKs, or data broker analytics.

 

5. Data Sharing, Sale & Commercial Disclosure

 

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

 

6. Data Retention & Removal

  • Zero Cloud Storage: Because CyBelt does not collect personal data or operate cloud user accounts, no personal records exist on external servers.

  • Local Data Removal: Uninstalling the CyBelt application or clearing application storage (Settings > Apps > CyBelt > Storage > Clear Data) immediately and permanently purges all local configurations, trial records, and preferences from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

 

CyBelt is a general-audience digital safety utility. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect application updates or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
